International Adoption Day is a day when the adoption community gets together and celebrates adoption and the difference it has made to our lives.   It is a day concentrating on adopted children and on new families into the adoption family.  We have a parade in which the children all get dressed in their national costumes and show us how proud they and their parents are of their heritage.  We also have children’s entertainment and activities and of course lots of food.  For the adults we have country tables at which you can offer your support or ask questions and receive support through your adoption journey. 2013 sees the celebration of our 28th International Adoption Day, so the celebrations are set to be bigger and better than ever!

This is one of the biggest events for the year and is totally run by adoption community volunteers, from the organising committee right through to the running of the day.  Why not volunteer to help out and help make this July the best ever event.

In 2013, International Adoption Day will be held on July 28th - mark your diaries now! CitipointeCollege Hall - 322 Wecker Rd Carindale 9.30am to 3pm  $5 per person over 18.
